The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (State Board) is commencing the 12th examination from February 21. The admit cards for this examination have been made available online by the state board since January 22.
Now, the board has issued instructions regarding this exam. It will be mandatory for students to be present at the examination center half an hour before the paper starts. All centers have been instructed that students arriving after the start of the paper will not be allowed to appear for the exam. Therefore, students should arrive at the exam centers half an hour before the scheduled time.
To ensure a copy-free 12th exam, the board has decided to use the Sarmisal method this year. Consequently, students from the same school or junior college will not sit one after the other during the 12th examination. Instead, students will have roll numbers assigned at different exam centers. Previously, the question paper was given to students ten minutes before the start of the paper. However, this method will now be discontinued, and students will be given ten minutes of extra time at the end of the paper.
Additionally, the board has clarified that all Xerox centers within 100 meters of the examination center will remain closed until the computer class papers are issued for the copy-free examination. For subjects other than language subjects, the board has prepared a timetable to allow students sufficient study time. Therefore, the Board of Education appeals to students to take the exam with confidence and without fear.
Furthermore, action will be taken against the directors of examination centers where copying occurs. Police security will be increased at all examination centers, and CCTV cameras will closely monitor sensitive centers. Seven rapid response teams will be deployed at the district level, and Section 144 will be enforced within the premises of examination centers.
Increase in the Number of Students: Every year, approximately 14 lakh 60 thousand students register for class 12th. Last year, 14 lakh 28 thousand students of class XII had registered. It has been revealed that the number of students in class 12 this year is 15 lakh 15 thousand.

In light of this, the board has issued crucial instructions:
Timely Arrival: Students must be present at the examination center half an hour before the paper starts. Latecomers will not be allowed to appear for the exam.Copy-Free Approach: To prevent copying, the board will use the Sarmisal method. Students from the same school or junior college will not sit consecutively. Roll numbers will be assigned at different exam centers.Extended Time: Unlike the previous practice of providing question papers ten minutes before the start, students will now receive ten extra minutes at the end of the paper.Xerox Centers Closure: Xerox centers within 100 meters of the examination center will remain closed until computer class papers are issued.
Appeal to Students: The Board of Education encourages students to approach the exam with confidence.Additionally, strict action will be taken against directors of centers where copying occurs. Enhanced police security and CCTV surveillance will monitor sensitive centers. Rapid response teams will be deployed at the district level, ensuring a smooth examination process.

अब बोर्ड ने इस परीक्षा को लेकर निर्देश जारी कर दिए हैं. छात्रों को पेपर शुरू होने से आधा घंटा पहले परीक्षा केंद्र पर उपस्थित होना अनिवार्य होगा. सभी केंद्रों को निर्देश दिया गया है कि पेपर शुरू होने के बाद आने वाले छात्रों को परीक्षा में बैठने की अनुमति नहीं दी जाएगी। इसलिए छात्रों को परीक्षा केंद्रों पर निर्धारित समय से आधा घंटा पहले पहुंचना होगा.
नकल मुक्त 12वीं परीक्षा सुनिश्चित करने के लिए बोर्ड ने इस साल सरमिसाल पद्धति का उपयोग करने का निर्णय लिया है। नतीजतन, 12वीं की परीक्षा के दौरान एक ही स्कूल या जूनियर कॉलेज के छात्र एक के बाद एक नहीं बैठेंगे। इसके बजाय, छात्रों को अलग-अलग परीक्षा केंद्रों पर रोल नंबर दिए जाएंगे। पहले, पेपर शुरू होने से दस मिनट पहले छात्रों को प्रश्न पत्र दिया जाता था। हालाँकि, अब यह पद्धति बंद कर दी जाएगी और छात्रों को पेपर के अंत में दस मिनट का अतिरिक्त समय दिया जाएगा।
साथ ही बोर्ड ने स्पष्ट किया है कि नकल मुक्त परीक्षा के लिए कंप्यूटर क्लास के पेपर जारी होने तक परीक्षा केंद्र के 100 मीटर के दायरे के सभी जेरॉक्स सेंटर बंद रहेंगे. भाषा विषयों के अलावा अन्य विषयों के लिए, बोर्ड ने छात्रों को पर्याप्त अध्ययन समय देने के लिए एक समय सारिणी तैयार की है। इसलिए शिक्षा बोर्ड छात्रों से अपील करता है कि वे आत्मविश्वास के साथ और बिना किसी डर के परीक्षा दें।
इसके अलावा जिन परीक्षा केंद्रों पर नकल होगी, वहां के संचालकों पर भी कार्रवाई की जायेगी. सभी परीक्षा केंद्रों पर पुलिस सुरक्षा बढ़ाई जाएगी और संवेदनशील केंद्रों पर सीसीटीवी कैमरों से कड़ी निगरानी रखी जाएगी. जिला स्तर पर सात रैपिड रिस्पांस टीमें तैनात की जाएंगी और परीक्षा केंद्रों के परिसर में धारा 144 लागू की जाएगी.
छात्रों की संख्या में बढ़ोतरी: हर साल लगभग 14 लाख 60 हजार छात्र 12वीं कक्षा के लिए रजिस्ट्रेशन कराते हैं। पिछले साल बारहवीं कक्षा के 14 लाख 28 हजार छात्रों ने रजिस्ट्रेशन कराया था। सामने आया है कि इस साल 12वीं कक्षा में छात्रों की संख्या 15 लाख 15 हजार है.
इसके आलोक में, बोर्ड ने महत्वपूर्ण निर्देश जारी किए हैं:
- समय पर आगमन: छात्रों को पेपर शुरू होने से आधे घंटे पहले परीक्षा केंद्र पर उपस्थित होना होगा। देर से आने वालों को परीक्षा में बैठने की अनुमति नहीं दी जाएगी।
- नकल-मुक्त दृष्टिकोण: नकल को रोकने के लिए बोर्ड सरमिसाल पद्धति का उपयोग करेगा। एक ही स्कूल या जूनियर कॉलेज के छात्र लगातार नहीं बैठेंगे। अलग-अलग परीक्षा केंद्रों पर रोल नंबर दिए जाएंगे।
- विस्तारित समय: शुरू होने से दस मिनट पहले प्रश्न पत्र उपलब्ध कराने की पिछली प्रथा के विपरीत, छात्रों को अब पेपर के अंत में दस अतिरिक्त मिनट मिलेंगे।
- ज़ेरॉक्स केंद्र बंद: कंप्यूटर कक्षा के पेपर जारी होने तक परीक्षा केंद्र के 100 मीटर के भीतर ज़ेरॉक्स केंद्र बंद रहेंगे।
- छात्रों से अपील: शिक्षा बोर्ड छात्रों को आत्मविश्वास के साथ परीक्षा देने के लिए प्रोत्साहित करता है।
साथ ही जिन केंद्रों पर नकल होगी वहां के संचालकों पर सख्त कार्रवाई की जाएगी। बढ़ी हुई पुलिस सुरक्षा और सीसीटीवी निगरानी से संवेदनशील केंद्रों पर नजर रखी जाएगी। सुचारू परीक्षा प्रक्रिया सुनिश्चित करने के लिए जिला स्तर पर त्वरित प्रतिक्रिया टीमें तैनात की जाएंगी।
