Pune: During the practical examinations of classes 10th and 12th, students frequently receive marks at mid-range. Acknowledging this issue, the state education board has decided to introduce online filling of practical marks instead of using OMR mark sheets for the first time starting this year.
This development has stirred concerns among educational institutions as it aims to thwart the issuance of counterfeit grades.
The state education board has unveiled the timetable for the practical exams of classes 10th and 12th. As per the schedule, the 12th practical exams will take place from February 2 to 20, while the practical and oral examinations for class 10 will be conducted from February 10 to 19.
