Mumbai: The wave of corona is almost over in the state. According to sources, Higher and Technical Education Minister Uday Samant has decided that examinations in all universities should be conducted offline. Notably, on Monday, he interacted with all the universities in an online meeting. It is understood that the decision was made after that.
The state has had a wave of corona so far. However, the number of corona patients has dropped significantly in the last one and a half months. Therefore, it was decided to start schools and colleges in the state at full capacity. Now online exams are being conducted by universities while colleges are running offline.
The student body also appeared to be aggressive in this regard. Some of them decided to take online exams through universities. However, on Monday, Higher and Technical Education Minister Uday Samant called a meeting of the vice-chancellors of all the universities to review the examinations. In it, he has instructed all the universities to conduct offline examinations, sources said.

The majority of university vice-chancellors are adamant about taking offline exams in vice-chancellor meetings. The university will give a set of questions to the students while taking the exam. There will be a gap of 2 days between the two papers. The Vice-Chancellor has fixed.
